Plants not only provide healthy environment but, add heaps of volume and character to your home. There are some vaastu friendly plants discussed in vaastu shastra that are proved to be beneficial to attract wealth into your homes.
- Tulsi Plant – Tulsi holds a special place in any Indian household it provides excellent aroma to its surroundings and tastes great when consumed with tea along with few more herbs. According to vaastu shastra you must plant Tulsi in east direction and keep the pot/planter clean at all times. Avoid watering and picking leaves on Sundays.
- Shami – Another vaastu friendly plants on the list is shami. It’s a larger then most of the indoor plants and requires outdoor spaces. Try to plant it on the right hand side of your plot to attract good wealth. It is said to rectify shani doshas also.
- Turmeric Plant – Turmeric is known for its healing and medicinal qualities for ages and people still sear by its health benefits. It removes negative energy from your house, it must be planted on the north or east side of the house for maximum benefits.
- Jade plant – also known as money tree, jade plant attracts wealth like anything and requires minimum maintenance. Place it close to main door of your home or apartment where you can see it while leaving / entering your home and see its benefits.
- Bamboo – In Chinese feng shui, benefits of bamboo tree are discussed in elaborated manner. It provides fresh air, purifies the environment and its excellent option for both indoors and outdoors. You can plant it directly in soil on the south-east corner of your garden or plant it in water pots. Make sure to remove and spoiled shoots from the bunch and try to change water at least once a week.
Bonus – Succulent plants are very much in trend these days and they add great interior volume to your home. Considered as vaastu friendly plants, succulents comes in variety of shapes and looks pretty cool as well.
